Allen, of West Bridgewater, November 28, 2006, Rose L. (Martin) Allen, 92 years. Wife of the late Kenneth W. Allen, Sr. Mother of Kenneth W. Allen, Jr. and Louise R. Foland both of West Bridgewater, Patsy A. Larson of Springfield, OH and Lorraine M. Fisher of Wareham.

Funeral Service in New England Baptist Church, W. Bridgewater Monday at 10am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 4-7 pm in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton.

Obituary Information

Rose L. (Martin) Allen died Tuesday at Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. Born and raised in Brockton, daughter of the late Joseph and Rosilda (Forcier) Martin, she was a graduate of Brockton High School. For over 30 years she had been employed by Jerry Miller Labs in Brockton, retiring as an inspector. She had been a longtime resident of Brockton until moving to West Bridgewater in 1972. Rose was an avid Bingo player who also enjoyed playing cards and wordsearch puzzles.

She is survived by one son Kenneth W. Allen Jr. of West Bridgewater, three daughters Louise R. Foland of West Bridgewater, Patsy A. Larson of Springfield, OH and Lorraine M. Fisher of Wareham, a sister Loretta Bernier of Middleboro, 13 grandchildren, many great and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Rose was the wife of the late Kenneth W. Allen, Sr. and was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
