Obituary

Rose V. (Relleva) Callow age 87, of Brockton, died Wednesday December 28, 2011 at Copley at Stoughton after a period of failing health. She was the loving wife for over 50 years of the late Lorne W. Callow.
Rose was born in Brockton a daughter of the late Julius and Adeline (Solomita) Relleva and remained a lifelong resident of the city. A graduate of Brockton High School, Rose retired as a secretary for the Shawmut Bank in Brockton. She enjoyed cooking, fishing and camping and especially bingo and trips to Foxwoods. Rose had been a longtime communicant of St. Patrick Church.
She will be sorely missed by her two children Lorna Hunt and her husband Clifford “Kip” and Donald Callow both of Brockton. She was the loving grandmother of Daniel Hunt of Brockton, Jennifer Nestelberger of W. Bridgewater, Jessica Hess of Valencia, CA and Matthew Callow of Arcadia, CA. She also leaves five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Rose was the sister of Richard Relleva and his wife Joyce of Hanson and the late John and Alfred Relleva.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday 4-7 pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Tuesday at 9 am followed by a funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church at 10 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Rose’s name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
