Obituary

Rose Gabriele, age 90 of Brockton died Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Wingate at Silver Lake after a brief illness. She was born in Brockton, a daughter of the late Frank and Amelia (Feroli) Gabriele and lived in Brockton for most of her life.

Rose was a beautician who owned and operated Roseann’s Beauty Salon in Campello. She had been a volunteer for several Democratic candidates.

She was the sister of Frank Gabriele and his wife Gail of Plymouth and the late Lena Oriola, Ida Hyder, Alba D’Antono, Jenny Gothage, Louise Cataldo and Tony Gabriele. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St (Rte 123) Brockton on Tuesday, 4-7pm. The procession will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8am for a funeral mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
