Obituary

Rose M. Lovell, age 81, of Brockton, died peacefully, November 15, 2017 at St. Joseph Manor. Rose was the beloved wife of the late Earle W. Lovell, Sr. for 58 years. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Elliot L. and Geraldine M. (Cote) Zarrella. She was a graduate of St. Patrick High School, Class of 1955. A kind and loving caretaker, Rose enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Rose is survived by six children; Susan Kinney of Middleboro, Earle W. Lovell, Jr., of Plymouth, John J. Lovell, Rosemary L. Tonelli, and Jean E. Lovell all of Brockton and Diane Bulu of Middleboro; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a brother Peter J. Zarrella of Virginia. She was the sister of the late Geraldine “Sissy” Armfield, Vincent “Tedo” Zarrella, Joseph Zarrella, Ruth “Mickey” Zarrella and Phillip Zarrella.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Sunday 2-5pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Monday at 9:30am, followed by a funeral Mass in Christ the King Church at 10:30am. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.
