Rose Mary (Biesk) Martin, 80, passed away on Thursday May 7, 2020. Rosemary was born on October 31, 1939 in Golden Eagle, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph and Ellen (Bryant) Biesk. Rosie, as most family knew her, grew up in Cottage Hills/Bethalto area. While in high school she was a cheerleader, and after graduating from Civic Memorial High School she married the love of her life Ronald J Martin. Her career in accounting started in Alton, IL and she made her way to Cincinnati, OH where she worked for one of the big 8 accounting firms. She moved back to Illinois and retired in Warrensburg MO. Her passions: She loved her children first and foremost. She loved going on Biesk family camping trips and adored family reunions. Potato salad and dumplings were her thing! She was the best seamstress around, and she catered many events on the side. This woman could do anything! She will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew her. Rosemary is survived by her children Teresa (Paul) Bright of Taunton, MA, Dana Martin of Concordia, MO, John Martin of Concordia, MO and Lathy (Lisa) Martin of Grain Valley, MO. Grandmother of John (Cathy) Cobbett-Walden, Megan (Caleb) Smith, Kyle (Jennifer) Walden, Brandon Martin, Elizabeth Martin, Brittany (Kegann) Martin, Alyssa (Andrew) Martin, Jeremiah (Brittni) Baruxen, Dianna (Mark) Summitt, Crystal (Justin) Truelove. As well as great grandmother to Owen, Olivia, Evelyn, Lucas, Allyie, Madelyn, Kennedy, Sawyer, Harper, Damein, Kelsea and Wyatt Sister of Raymond (Martha) Biesk of Moro, IL , Ivy (Gerald) Eberhart of Bethalto, IL and Theresa Nolte of Warrensburg, MO. Predeceased by the late Frank Biesk and John Biesk. Funeral Services are Private.
