Rose M. (Arcy) Saba
, 103, of Brockton, died peacefully Tuesday, September 9, 2008 shortly after being admitted to the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Bolus P. Saba.
Born January 18, 1905 in Dover, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Philomena Arcy. Raised in Brockton, she attended Brockton Schools and was able to live in her family home in Brockton until her death on Tuesday.
Mrs. Saba was a cook, and had worked for Producers Dairy in Brockton and Stonehill College in Easton for several years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church in Brockton.
She is survived by her daughters, Eleanor L. Samia and Dorothy A. Saba both of Brockton; she is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Rosemarie Sylvaria, Albert Saba, Philip M. Saba, and Raymond Saba. She was the sister of the late Marie Webby and Thomas Arcy.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday at 9:00AM thence to St. Thersa Maronite Catholic Church, 343 North Main St., Brockton where the Service of the Devine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00AM by the Rev. Tony Akoury. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Thursday 4:00-8:00PM with a Service of Incense at 6:00PM.
