Obituary

Rose E. (Cantalupo) Zipeto, age 84, of Brockton, died September 17, 2012 at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital following a period of failing health. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (DeMarco) Cantalupo. Rose was raised and educated in Brockton and had been a longtime resident of Caffrey Towers. For many years she had been employed as a cook at the Madalawn Nursing Home. She loved cooking, shopping and socializing with friends.
Rose is survived by her children Vincent Zipeto of East Bridgewater and Margaret Sargent of Brockton; a sister Christine Valente of Brockton, grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday 10-11am followed by a funeral home service at 11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
