Obituary

Johnson, of Brockton, August 19, 2003, Rosemary A. (Pegnam) Johnson, 85 years. Wife of Frederick A. Johnson. Mother of Nancy L. Carroll of Bowie, MD, Janet E. Woodman of Millis, MA, and Thomas F. Johnson of Boston. She also leaves six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland. Visiting Hours Thursday 3-7pm.

Obituary Information

Mrs. Johnson died Tuesday morning at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Brockton, a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Margaret E. (Corcoran) Pegnam. She attended Brockton schools and was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1936. She was also a 1938 graduate of La Selle College, in Newton, MA. She retired as a secretary from the Factory Mutual Insurance Company in Norwood. She was an avid Red Sox fan, and a member of the Brockton Country Club for over 25 years. She had been a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Frederick A. Johnson, two daughters Nancy L. Carroll of Bowie, MD and Janet E. Woodman of Millis, MA, a son Thomas F. Johnson of Boston, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Robert, Edward and William Pegnam and Margaret Kirby
