Obituary

Rosimeire L. (Lopes) Lana, age 53 of Brockton, died Sunday November 8, 2015 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the loving wife of Carlos Lana. Rosimeire was born in Caratinga, Brazil, a daughter of the late Nerio Fernandes and Maria De Lourdes Lopes. Rosimeire had been a resident of Brockton since 1999 and had owned Rod’s Pizzeria in Brockton with her husband. She loved shopping, but what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a loving person and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband Carlos Lana, a daughter Janine L. Gastao and her husband Cleber of Brockton, two sons Thiago F. Lana and his wife Thais of Brockton and Talles H. Lana and his wife Viviany Sudre of Taunton; her nine grandchildren, Lucas, Thomas, Daniel , Benjamin, Thaina, Isadora, Bernardo, Benicio and Beatriz, her siblings Marcia Lopes, Eder Lopes, Erika Azzi and Ingrid Lopes.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton on Thursday November 12, from 6 to 8pm followed by a funeral service at 8pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Friday November 13, at 9am for burial in Coweesett Cemetery, Brockton.
