Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8pm.
Obituary Information
Mr. Davis died Saturday evening at Brockton Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born and raised in Dighton, son of the late Patrick and Mary (Silvia) Davis. He was a veteran of WWII who served in the US Army Company D 109th Medical Battalion. He had been employed as a chemical operator for the former ICI Chemical Company in Dighton for 33 years retiring in 1981. He was a member of the VFW Raposa Knott #2094, Dighton. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, camping and helping others. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
He is survived by his longtime companion Mary A. Souza of Brockton and his stepchildren Joseph Souza, Linda Crossley and Allan Souza all of Brockton, Ronald Souza of Vermont, David Souza of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Joseph and Louis Davis
