Born June 28, 1949, he was the son of the late Raymond Macomber, Sr. and Florence (Norberg) Macomber. He was a lifelong member of the Enterprise Club in Brockton. He is survived by his wife, Mary (King) Macomber; his children, Mary Renee Sheehan and Russell C. Macomber, Jr.; his siblings, Raymond Macomber, Jr., Marjorie Cote, Ellen Perry and Elaine Welch; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
