Obituary

Ruth J. (Tamulevich) Horne, age 89, of Brockton, died September 8, 2014 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Ruth was the wife of the late Lawrence A. Horne. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Bratulevicz) Tamulevich. Ruth was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1942 and owned Horne Leather Company for many years. For several years she had been employed in local restaurants as a waitress. She enjoyed raising her dogs, gardening, and had a great love of flowers.
She is survived by her dear niece Carol Lessard, Carol’s children, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Tamulevich, Ann DeCosta, Rose, Joseph, Charles, Adolph “Artie”, Adam “Normie”, Edward, Frank and Mary Tamulevich.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday 9:30-10:30am followed by a funeral service at 10:30am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.
