Sabina (D'Amico) Spagone Sabina (D'Amico) Spagone , 95, of Brockton, passed away Friday, December 10, 2010 at St. Joseph Manor Nursing Home in Brockton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Rocco Spagone. Born March 13, 1915 in Canosa Di Puglia, Providence of Bari, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale D'Amico and Rose (Ianuzzi) D'Amico. Mrs. Spagone moved to America at the age of 12 and has been a Brockton resident for 67 years. Mrs. Spagone was a retired seamstress for Century Manufacturing Company for many years. She was dedicated to her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Priscilla Spagone of Brockton and Anthony Spagone and his wife Carol of East Falmouth; her grandchildren, Anthony Spagone, Jr. and Melissa Gilooly both of Cape Cod; sister of Gennaro D'Amico of Saugus; she is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Anna Mattoli. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday, December 14th at 8:00AM thence to Christ the King Parish, 42 Wendell Ave., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM.
