Online Obituaries Sabina (D'Alba) Sweeney, 80, formerly of 65 Kenelworth Avenue, Brockton, MA died on Monday, February 4, 2013 in Greenwich, CT after a long illness. Born September 9, 1932 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Angela (Cappeletti) D'Alba. She is survived by her husband Donald E. Sweeney, daughter Donna Sweeney Wiedemann and son in law, George Wiedemann, son, Eugene Sweeney, son in law, Alessandro Maffei and her grandson Spencer Wiedemann. As well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sweeney was a graduate of Brockton High School and Boston University. She had been a resident of Brockton for more than 70 years and worked as a hairdresser in the Brockton area for over 40 years.
