Sadie Margos, 100, of Brockton. The beautiful soul of Sadie Margos passed from this earth on Tuesday, August 28th, 2018. She was the daughter of Bessie (Bravacos) Margos and Louis Margos. Sadie is a lifelong resident of Brockton and a graduate of Brockton High School. She was a member of the class of 1936 reunion committee serving as publicity chairman and various other positions. She is a graduate of Williams School of Business where she studied advanced accounting. She had worked at WL Douglas Shoe Co. in Brockton before deciding on a career move to Boston. She worked for the law firm of Ropes and Gray for 31 years and retired as a probate accountant for the firm. Sadie was devoted to her family and friends. She created many happy memories by hosting gatherings and traveling near and far with her affable sisters to celebrate life's bounty. Sadie enjoyed skiing and for many years served as an officer and board member of the Brockton Ski Club. She was an avid golfer and was a member of the Pine Valley Golf Club for 10 years where she served as a member of the social committee. She was also a member of the Brockton Country Club where she served as Secretary of the Ladies Division for 19 years. She was voted an honorary lifetime member upon her retirement. Sadie had many hobbies and particularly loved the ocean and gardening. She created many beautiful flower gardens that brought great joy to her family, friends and neighborhood. She is predeceased by her parents and sisters Anne, Emily and Ethel. She is survived by cousins from New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She passed gracefully with the loving help of her devoted caregivers, friends and family. Funeral services are private.
