Sadie Martin Sadie F. (Maloof) Martin, 80, of Orlando, Florida and formerly of Brockton, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009 at her home under the care of her family and hospice. Sadie was born in Brockton on January 31, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Marcia Maloof. She was a dedicated family woman who traveled between Orlando and Brockton to be with all her family. She was an avid bingo player and a great friend to all. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her memory will never be forgotten. Sadie is survived by her five daughters, Darlene Love and her husband Wade of Orlando, FL, Loriann Sullivan and her husband Thomas of Santa Maria, CA, Denise Gardner of Tampa, FL, Cindy Martin and her companion Todd Tantillo of Brockton, and Tina Gardina and her husband Jerry of Brockton; her son, Fred Martin and his wife Lynn of Brockton; her three sisters, Agnes McDonald of Orlando, FL with whom she made her home, Terry Moore and her husband Lamoine of Orlando, FL, and Lillian Maloof of West Roxbury; her brother, George Maloof and his wife Marilyn of Orlando, FL; she is also survived by twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Ricky Martin. Funeral Information Following cremation, a Memorial Gathering will be held in Russell Pica Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 29th from 9:30AM - 11:00AM followed by a funeral prayer service at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
