Sandra Lee (Moran) Kominsky, 76, of West Bridgewater passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 23, 2023. She was the loving wife of Retired West Bridgewater Police Chief Robert W. Kominsky.

Born in Missouri on July 9, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. Simpson Moran and Francis (Baron) Moran. Sandra graduated from Abington High School.

In addition to her husband Robert, Sandra is survived by her sons Robert W. Kominsky, Jr., Mark D. Kominsky, Michael T. Kominsky and his wife Kelly and Kevin R. Kominsky and his wife Lisa; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

"Sandy" was a mom and nana to all that had the pleasure to know her. She was a proud mom of her four boys and wife of the former Chief of Police. She loved spending time with her family & friends, especially at her yearly Fourth of July bash. She was the pillar of strength to all the knew her and her loss will be felt by all that were blessed to have met her.

Calling hours are at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 S. Main St., (Rt.28) West Bridgewater on Friday, January 27th from 4:00-7:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 PM. Interment will be private.
