Online Obituaries Sandra C. Monteiro Tillman, 61, of Brockton passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the VA Boston Healthcare System-Brockton. She was the wife of Richard D. Tillman, Jr. Born September 3, 1956 in Boston, MA she was the daughter of Harry M. Gomes and Marie L. (Jackson) Gomes. Sandra was a graduate of Hyde Park High School and Massasoit Community College. She served in the U.S. Army from which she was honorbly discharged. In addition to her husband Richard, she is survived by her children, Mellika Monteiro, Antonio Monteiro and Michael Monteiro, and nine grandchilden. Funeral Information A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 10:00AM in the Messiah Baptist Church, 80 Legion Parkway Brockton, MA. Interment with Military Honors will follow the service at 12:45PM in the VA Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visitation prior to the service from 9:00AM to 10:00AM in the CHURCH.
