Obituary

Sara E. Lozada, 81, of Brockton died Thursday April 3, 2014 in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. Sara was born in Corozal, Puerto Rico to the late Pablo and Herminia (Medina) Lozada. She moved to Massachusetts in 1983 and has been a Brockton resident for many years.
Sara loved to travel and was “always ready to go” and was known to enjoy some fun at a casino or two. She most enjoyed time spent with her family and their large family gatherings.

She was the wife of the late Jose Torres and is survived by her children; Aurea Jimenez of Taunton, Milagros Torres of Puerto Rico, Benjamin Torres of Bridgewater, Jose Torres and Carmen Perez both of Brockton, Vidal Torres of Orlando, FL and Ruth Torres of New Bedford and many grand, great and great great grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Jose M. Torres and Sara Gutierrez.

Visiting hours will be Monday 5-8 pm with a funeral home service Tuesday at 11 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
