Casey of Brockton October 11, 2003 Sarah Rose (Hurley) Casey 86 years. Wife of the late Gerald F. Casey. Loving mother of Peter M. Casey and his wife Malia of Brockton and Paul M. Casey of Salem, Oregon. Sister of Helen Hodgon of Winchester.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes at 9 am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Obituary

Mrs. Casey died Saturday evening at her home after a brief illness. She was born in Manchester-by-the-Sea daughter of the late James and Grace (Logue) Hurley. She has been a resident of Brockton since 1947. Mrs. Casey was a graduate of Brookline High School Class of 1936.

She retired from the office of Paul Clark Ford in Brockton and previously worked at the YWCA in Brockton.

Mrs. Casey enjoyed knitting and crewel work and also gardening and reading.

She is survived by her 2 sons Peter M. Casey of Brockton and Paul M. Casey of Salem, OregonOne sister Helen Hodgon of Winchester, MA and several nieces and nephews

She was the sister of the late John and William Hurley, Josephine Mills, Mary Sorenson and Grace Bloomingburg
