Hickman of Brockton, November 27, 2003, Sarah C. (MacFawn) Hickman, 85 years. Wife of the late David A. Hickman. Mother of Mark C. and his wife Helen (Scopelitis) of Stoughton, Diane Benson and her husband Richard of NY., Susan Ribeiro and her husband Michael E. of Greenfield. Grandmother of seven and great grandmother of five.Sister in law of Doris Levanitis of N. Easton.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 11 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Donations in memory of Sarah may be made to American Cancer Society, 1115 W. Chestnut St., #301, Brockton, MA 02301 or to Alzheimer’s Association, 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, MA 02140.

Obituary

Mrs. Hickman died on Thursday at the Copley at Stoughton, after a long illness. Born in Boston, daughter of the late Russell and Eva (Monroe) MacFawn. Resident of Brockton for more than 50 years. Graduate of Barrington Rhode Island High School and also a graduate of Bryant College.

Employed by Security Federal Savings Bank in Brockton for more than 30 years. Mrs. Hickman was devoted to her family.

She is survived by one son Mark C. Hickman of Stoughton, two daughters, Diane Benson of NY and Susan Ribeiro of Greenfield, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and a sister in law Doris Levanitis of N. Easton.
