Sharon E. (Heath) King, (Shari), 79, of Scituate, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was the longtime partner of Richard Kelleher for over 50 years.
Born on April 1, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor (Wright) Heath. She grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana where she graduated from Metairie Park Country Day School. Sharon attended William Smith College in New York and was a graduate of Newcomb College in New Orleans, Louisiana where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority.
Sharon retired from the Polaroid Company where she was the head of customer service in Waltham, Massachusetts
She enjoyed traveling. She lived for several years in Barcelona, Spain, and returned many times with her partner, Richard. She also summered at the Georgian Bay in Ontario, Canada. Sharon loved her many cats, and was a beautiful athlete, excelling in every sport she played.
In addition to her partner, Richard, Sharon is survived by her siblings Anne Stronach, Carole Brammer, Barbara Boucek and Robert Heath, Jr.; many adored nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and was a beloved member of the Kelleher and MacDonald families.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, June 11th from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 12:00 PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.(Rt.123), Brockton.
