Sharon Marie (Parker) Wood, 68, of Carver passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 peacefully at home after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Kenneth H. Wood.
Born on November 12, 1952 in Harrington, Maine she was the daughter of Ada E. (Look) Parker and the late Robert D. Parker. She was a graduate of Bridgewater- Raynham Regional High School class of 1971. Sharon worked at Talbots in Lakeville for many years before retiring. She enjoyed camping with her husband, playing the lottery, and watching the Patriots. She loved baking and bringing baked goods to everyone and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children Tracey M. Wood and her fiancé Kacy French of Denver, Colorado, Melissa F. (Wood) Nucci and her husband Dan of Westford and Kenneth A. Wood and his wife Kristi of Whitman; her step-grandson Kade Paton; her siblings Robert W. Parker and his wife Gayle, Paul L. Parker, Dennis I. Parker and his partner Sue Hooke, Nancy (Parker) Ferreira, Kathy (Parker) DeSousa and her husband John and Jeffery E. Parker; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Kenneth Parker. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt128) West Bridgewater on Friday, February 19th from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
