Shawn Anthony Costa Shawn Anthony Costa , 14, of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 12, 2010 in Brockton. Born July 19, 1996 in Stoughton, he was the beloved son of Shawn A. Meadows and Elaine Marie Costa. Shawn was raised in Brockton and attended the Hancock School, West Junior High School and was a Freshman at Brockton High School. He enjoyed playing baseball and was a member of the Brockton Junior Army ROTC. He is survived by his parents, Elaine M. Costa and Shawn A. Meadows; his siblings, Anthony G. Costa, Erick A. Costa, Mariah N. Costa and Soriyah C. Pires; his grandparents, George P. Costa, Maria B. Costa, Rachel Meadows and the late James Cosby; his aunts and uncles, Susan Riley, Marcellus Riley, Timothy Meadows, Charles McNeil, Crysta McNeil, Jamie Meadows, Tia Meadows, Angela Jenkins and the late James "Busta" Presley; he is also survived by several cousins. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the First Church of Nazarene, 89 North Pearl St., Brockton on Friday, December 17th at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home on Thursday 4:00-8:00PM.
