Shawn J. DePasquale passed away on Saturday April 22, 2023 at thirty years of age, surrounded by loved ones after a period of extended illness from cancer.

Shawn was a native of Brockton, Massachusetts and took great pride in his city. He attended St. Edward's Catholic School and graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in 2010. He was an altar server for St. Edith Stein church for many years. He worked as an EMT and then he moved to Dover NH and realized his dream of becoming a police officer. He was a police officer for the town of Rollinsford, NH from 2017-2020. He married Sarah Harrelson on June 29, 2019. He returned to his home town of Brockton in 2020 and was employed by Brewster Ambulance and Newbridge on the Charles. He received a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Southern New Hampshire University. He was a faithful Catholic and a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Easton, MA. He loved nature, hiking and completed a voluntary National Society of Leadership and Success "Better World" project by installing 12 tree ID signs at Wildlands' Brockton Audubon Preserve. He was a friendly, funny guy who loved his family and friends. He was a caring person who was always willing to help others. He loved his rescue dog Nala who was adopted from the ASPCSM in Brockton.

Shawn is survived by wife Sarah DePasquale (Harrelson) and parents Joseph M. and Linda M. DePasquale of Brockton, sister Melissa A. DePasquale of Easton, brother Joseph R. DePasquale and his wife Melissa of Carver, nieces Allison Smallwood of Easton and Brynn DePasquale of Carver, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday April 27th in the Russell & Pica Funeral home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte 123) from 4-7 pm. Funeral service will be at St. Edith Stein Church at 71 E Main St. Brockton at 10:30 am Friday April 28th followed by Interment at Calvary Cemetery in Brockton.
