Sheila A. Danaitis, of Brockton, former banker, died on March 19, 2025 in Brockton. She was 77 years old.

Ms. Danaitis was the daughter of the late Benedict Danaitis and Mary (Nisby) Danaitis and the sister of the late Michael R. Danaitis.

Born and raised in Brockton, she was a lifelong resident, graduating from Brockton High School in 1965. Ms. Danaitis had a 34-year banking career in Consumer Finance holding various management and computer analyst positions that included bank mergers and developing operations facilities.

She enjoyed gardening, traveling, cooking, attending cultural events, providing a loving home for her pets, and maintained an interest in animal advocate and elderly care giving causes and associations.

She is survived by a sister, Karen Slater, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Following Cremation, a Memorial Gathering will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday from 9:30AM-11:30AM followed by a prayer service in the funeral home at 11:30AM.  Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
