IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sheila
Diiulis
October 14, 1940 – March 12, 2025
Sheila DiIulis (Jordan), age 84, passed away suddenly on March 12, 2025. Sheila was born in Brockton on October 14, 1940, attended Brockton public schools, and graduated from Brockton High School in 1958, after which she attended Hairdressing School at the Brockton Beauty Academy. In 1959, she married the love of her life, Gaspar "Pee Wee" DiIulis, and started a beautiful and rewarding life together.
Sheila was an incredibly talented artist. She was an avid painter, always willing to challenge herself with various mediums and styles of art and had received multiple awards and recognitions for her works. Sheila belonged to both the Oak Point Art Society in Middleboro and the Pinellas Park Art Society of Florida, where she had many of her beautiful works of art on display, sold others, and gifted favorites away to family and friends. She was a very active member of Oak Point, participating in numerous community activities, and truly enjoyed her role as an aquatic aerobics instructor. Gardening was also a passion of hers, displaying her green thumb with the beautiful flowers that adorned her gardens. Throughout her life, the beach was Sheila's happy place, walking on the sand, swimming in the water, and enjoying and capturing nature in her paintings. Above all else, Sheila was the embodiment of family.
Sheila was predeceased by her parents, William and Helen Jordan, and her brother, William Jordan. She leaves behind her loving husband, Gaspar "Pee Wee" DiIulis. Together, they raised their family in Brockton and later moved to Oak Point in Middleboro and spent winters in Pinellas Park, FL. She will be missed dearly by her four children, David DiIulis and his partner Jeff Osmond, Daniel DiIulis and his wife Lisa, Terri Linden (DiIulis) and her husband Bruce, and Tammi Mendoza (DiIulis). Sheila was also adored by her eight grandchildren, Amanda, Nicky, Christopher, Sarah, Becky, Emily, Jen, and Nicole. Along with her four great grandchildren, Vienna, Declan, Eleanor Mae, and Carter, all of whom became the center of her love and affection. Her presence in the lives of all of her family and many friends was blessed and will be forever cherished.
Calling hours will be held at Russell and Pica Funeral Home, West Bridgewater, on Wednesday, March 26th from 3:00 – 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on behalf of Sheila to a charity of your choice.
