Obituary

Shirley (Ganley) Baker, age 87, of West Bridgewater passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 28, 2017. She was the wife of the late William L. Baker, and daughter of the late Daniel and Alice (Whynock) Ganley. She was born and raised in Brockton, where she lived until moving to West Bridgewater with her husband and family. Before retiring she was employed by Phaneuf Hospital and later the Brockton VA Medical Center. She was an avid reader and was loved by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Paul Baker of W. Bridgewater, William Baker and his wife Claire of Florida and Patrick Baker and his wife Peggy of Brockton; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Andrew Ganley and his wife Linda of Florida and the late Alice Nagarya, Louella Salus, Eleanor Sullivan, and Francis and Daniel Ganley.
