Obituary

Mallory, of West Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, January 29, 2003, Shirley M. (Butler) Mallory, 80 years. Wife of the late Robert E. Mallory. Mother of Stephanie A. and Bethany C. Mallory, both of Brockton.

Private services and burial were held in Pine Hill Cemetery W. Bridgewater Friday morning.

Obituary Information

Mrs. Mallory died Wednesday evening at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater after a period of failing health. Born in Norwell, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Ina (Gunderway) Butler. She was a graduate of Norwell High School and also graduated from Brockton Business College. She had been a resident of Brockton for over 50 years. Before her retirement she was a personal assistant at Knapp Shoe Company in Brockton. Previously she was an executive secretary in the orthopedic department at Massachusetts General Hospital. She enjoyed knitting and reading.

She is survived by her two daughters Stephanie A. and Bethany C. Mallory, both of Brockton.a brother Emmett Butler Jr. of Boston, a sister Corrine Henderson of Natick, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arlene Mallory and Merdis Butler
