Obituary

Shirley E. (Nelson) Naughton, of West Bridgewater, died peacefully, February 2, 2016. Shirley was the loving wife of the late Joseph F. Naughton. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Margaret (Dunlea) Nelson. Shirley enjoyed time with family and friends, traveling, baking, yard sales, and meeting people she had worked with during her thirty years with “Ma Bell”.
Shirley was the devoted mother of Laurie Naughton, Susan Frissora, and pup Muffy, and “second mom” to son-in-law Joseph Frissora and Patricia Lynch. Loving Grammy of Joe, Dan and Josh Frissora; cherished “Aunt Shirl” of Dr. Larry Ritcey, Steve, Chris, and John Nelson, and Mary Ellen Davis; cousin of Sally Penney; lifelong friends with her sister-in-law, Mary (Conley) Nelson, and Lorraine (Gardner) Sullivan. Shirley was the sister of the late John S. Nelson.
