Obituary

Shirley A. (Hunnewell) (Furlong) Sheehan, 70 years, of Brockton died Wednesday June 9, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Medical. She was born in Concord a daughter of the late Charles W. and Shirley D. (Goodrich) Hunnewell. Shirley attended Brockton and Randolph Schools, graduating from Randolph High School in 1957. She was a long time resident of Belair Towers in Brockton. Shirley enjoyed yards sales, watching HGTV and sitting in her swing, but what gave her the most enjoyment was time spent with her family.

She is survived by her children, Richard Furlong of CA, David Furlong of Middleboro, Donna Cady of Weymouth, Raymond Sheehan, Jr. of Raynham, Karen Sheehan of Brockton, and Michelle Davis of Abington, a sister Judith Allen of Brockton, a brother William Hunnewell of Stoughton, 11 grandchildren and a great grandchild. She was the mother of the late Glenn Furlong and sister of the late June Surdam.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 10am. Visiting hours Friday 5-8pm. Cremation to follow.
