Online Obituaries Sofia Vemis, 92, of Abington, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Vasilios Vemis. A native of Ayios Nicholaos, Northern Epiros, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Christo and Elezabeth Kollios. She is survived by her five children, Elpis Keramidas of Hampton, NH, Eleftheria Theos and her husband William of Easton, Ann Stathakis and her husband Paul of Brockton, Roxanne Vemis of Lynnfield and Matthew Vemis of Milford; grandmother of Evelyn, Charles, John, James, Eric and William; great-grandmother of six; sister of Tasia, Melpo and Vasilios. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Greece. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, April 8th at 10:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 11:00AM.
