Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 10am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-7pm.

Obituary

Stacia (Martynowski) Chaplain, 91 years, died Monday morning at Baypointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a period of failing health.

Born, raised and educated in Brockton, she had been a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late Marian and Rozalia (Tamkan) Martynowski. For many years she had been employed in various shoe manufacturing companies in Brockton. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Senior Citizens League at Maple Alley and Westgate Lanes.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William B. Chaplain, one daughter Rosemary Chaplain of Brockton, one brother Edward Martynowski or Marshfield, one sister Helen Martynowski of Brockton, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Walter and Marian “Marty” Martynowski.
