Rich of Brockton, August 4, 2003, Stanley E. Rich, 79 years. Husband of Jennie V. (McCabe) Rich. Father of Donald A. Rich and his wife Linda of Easton. Grandfather of Suzanne Rich of Norton and Kelly Ann Rich of Easton. Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 11 am. Burial in Wendall Cemetery, Holbrook. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 pm.

Obituary

Mr. Rich died Monday morning at Braemoor Rehabilitation and Nursing after a brief illness.Born in Holbrook, the son of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Tirrell) Rich. Raised and educated in Brockton. Retired teamster Local 653 Bourne Transportation Company in Brockton. During WW II he worked at Fore River Shipyard.

He enjoyed camping in Maine and Cape Cod

Survived by his wife of 58 years, Jennie V. (McCabe) Rich, a son, Donald A. Rich and his wife Linda of Easton, two granddaughters, Suzanne Rich of Norton and Kelly Ann Rich of Easton, two brothers, Arthur Rich, Jr. of Wells, Maine, and Warren Rich of Bridgewater, three sisters, Ruth Lariviere of Brockton, Barbara Cifelli of W. Bridgewater and Eleanor Rock of Brockton and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews
