Stavroula "Stella" Panagoulopoulos
Stavroula "Stella" (Hatsiopoulos) Panagoulopoulos, 62, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of George Panagoulopoulos.
Born October 15, 1948 in Korifi Kozani, Greece she was the daughter of Victoria (Gouras) Hatsiopoulos of Brockton and the late George Hatsiopoulos.
Stella was a retired Book Keeper and she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton where she was a Sunday School Teacher for 21 years.
She was a member of the Philoptochos Society, Pan Macedonian Association, Daughters of Olympia and the Pan-Eliakos Society of New England.
She is survived by her husband, George Panagoulopoulos of Brockton; her children, Basil Panagoulopoulos and his wife Lucy of Rhode Island, Christine Veiga and her husband JP of Brockton and Victoria Panagoulopoulos of Brockton; her grandchildren, Adriana Maria, Gabriella Stavroula, Georgina Victoria, Nicholas Robert and Anthony Georgios; her mother, Victoria (Gouras) Hatsiopoulos of Brockton; her brother, Anastasios "Tasho" Hatsiopoulos and his wife Diane of Brockton; her sister, Evagelia Kollias and her husband Theodore of Greece; her sister-in-laws, Sophia and George Sgourakes of Millis, Katina Mouyos of Millis and Maria Panagoulopoulos of Greece; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday at 9:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Friday 4:00-8:00PM.
