Stephen A. Jones Stephen Albert Jones, 96, of Brockton died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. He was the husband of the late Barbara L. (Burns) Jones. Born May 22, 1912 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Steven A. Jones and Ella (Baker) Jones. Raised in Brockton, he attended Brockton schools. Mr. Jones was a Payroll Supervisor for Mass Bay Transit Authority for thirty-two years. He enjoyed stamp collecting and gardening. Being a Brockton resident for most of his life, he enjoyed his time spent in South Yarmouth. He is survived by his children, Dwight S. Jones and his wife Carol of Bridgewater, and Cynthia Noonan and her husband Thomas of California; his grandchildren, Heather Jones, Cory Jones and Chelsea Noonan. Funeral Information A Memorial Gathering will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rt. 123) Brockton on Wednesday, June 4th from 5:00-8:00PM.
