Obituary

Stephen C. O’Keefe, age 54, of Brockton, died unexpectedly on October 1, 2016. Born in Stoneham, he was the son of the late Thomas G. and Elizabeth C. (Daly) O’Keefe. Stephen was raised and educated in Brockton, and was a 1979 graduate of Brockton High School. At the time of his death, he had been employed for the past 25 years at Comcast as a Quality Assurance Technician. Known for being generous with his time and talents, Stephen also enjoyed gardening, fishing and working on his 1974 Chevelle. His house was known for its holiday decorations and well- tended yard.

Stephen is survived by three sisters Donna Koury and her husband Tom of Mashpee; Lisa O’Keefe and her wife Blair Benander of Waltham and Kathleen Shea and her husband Chris of Brockton. He is also survived by his niece Sally Inglis and her husband Donny, nephews Shane and Stone and dear friend Catherine Lederman, who he enjoyed museums, wine tasting and dining out with.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday 5-8 pm. A funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 11 am. Burial will be at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stephen’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
