Steven P. Foote

Steven P. Foote, age 69, of Brockton, passed away on April 14, 2026, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.

Born in Waltham, he was the son of the late Walter R. and Lois M. (Streitmater) Foote.

A lifelong Brocktonian, Steve graduated from Brockton High School, Class of 1974. He earned an associate degree at Massasoit Community College and a bachelor's degree in business management at Northeastern University.

He worked at Victory Ford in Stoughton for ten years, retiring in 2008.

Steven served as a chairman for the Brockton Democratic City Committee. He was a Golden Key National Honor Society Member at Northeastern University and served as a host for Democratically Speaking, a local cable television show. Mr. Foote was also vice chairman of the Plymouth County Charter Commission.

He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots.

Mr. Foote is survived by his brother Gregory W. Foote of Brockton and many lifelong friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:30-10:30am, with a funeral service beginning at 10:30am in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
