Online Obituaries Stewart W. Scotty Simpson, 66, of Brockton, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. He was the husband of Janice M. (Fagan) Simpson. Born August 20, 1950 in Aberdeen, Scotland he was the son of Margaret J. (Watson) Simpson and the late Stewart B. Simpson. Scotty was a graduate of Weldon Vocational School in Medford, Class of 1968. He served his country in the National Guard. He was a master mechanic by trade and worked for City Side Subaru of Belmont, MA. Scotty enjoyed working in his yard. He was a member of the Enterprise Club in Brockton, the 126th Signal Battalion Association and also the Medford Elks Club. He loved and cherished his granddaughter Danielle. He is survived by his wife, Janice M. (Fagan) Simpson; his son, Scott A. Simpson and his wife Susan; his granddaughter, Danielle Simpson; his mother Margaret J. (Watson) Simpson; his sister, Lillian Marquardt of Phoenix, AZ; his nephew, Jason Uecker of South Dakota. Funeral Information Funeral Service will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, November 7th at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00PM -6:00PM.
