Sue Ann May, 72, of Bridgewater passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Bruce May of 50 years. Born on October 31, 1949, in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Jeffrey Wilder and Irene (Galligan) Wilder. She graduated from Holbrook High School. Sue was the office manager for Atherton Furniture and the assistant store manager at Cumberland Farms. She enjoyed going to the beach, playing bingo, and drinking a cold glass of Coke. In addition to her husband Bruce, Sue is survived by her children Kelly Denly and her husband Michael and Robert McLaughlin and former daughter-in-law Tammy McLaughlin; her grandchildren Brianne and Bradford Denly, Christina, Paige, Robert, and Katie McLaughlin; her great-granddaughter Alice McLaughlin; her sister Donna Filipe and her husband Greg; her nephews Henry and Brian Leary; and great-nephew Devin Leary and great-niece Savannah Leary. She was also the sister of the late Timothy O'Donnell. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, July 9th in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 S. Main St., (Rt.28) West Bridgewater from 2:00-4:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Old Colony Hospice.
