Susan Hilliard of Abington MA, formerly Brockton, MA, passed away June 28th, 2022 at the age of 56. Born on April 15th, 1966 in Brockton, Ma to Robert D. Hilliard and the late Georgia I. (Strong) Hilliard. A graduate of Brockton High School class of 84. Susan worked as a medical assistant until retirement. She loved to travel the world, shopping, and spending precious time with her family and friends. Susan was always the life of the party. Her greatest accomplishment was being the mother to her son Shane. She is survived by her loving son Shane Muzzy of Abington, father Robert D. Hilliard, sister Traci Hilliard Jennings of Brockton, brother Erik Hilliard and his wife Kristen Hilliard of Brockton, nephews Devon Jennings Jr., Robert Jennings, Gregory Hilliard and Erik C. Hilliard, nieces Alexandra Hilliard and Jessica Hilliard. Susan also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many great-nieces and great-nephews and so many loving friends. Following cremation, a Memorial Gathering will be at the Russell and Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St, Brockton MA, Tuesday, July 12, 2022 between 9:00 & 11:00AM. followed by a funeral service held in the funeral home at 11:00AM. Interment will be held immediately following at Melrose Cemetery.
