Suzanne G. (Gilpin) Paige, 89, of Bridgewater, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. She was the wife of the late Cleon M. Paige. Born on May 20, 1932 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late William and Susan (O'Neill) Gilpin. Raised in Abington, she was a graduate of Abington High School. After marrying Cleon, they moved to Brockton, where they raised their 4 daughters. Suzanne worked in the claims department at Aetna Life Insurance Company in Brockton, as well as Brockton area law firms back in her younger days. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching movies and especially spending time with her family. Suzanne is survived by her children Patricia Paige Gerrior and her husband Clifford, Joanne Paige O'Connor and her husband Peter, Laureen Paige Uto and her husband Don and Carolyn Paige Youngworth and her late husband James; her grandchildren Danielle Lopez, Ryan Uto, Alex Youngworth, Michael O'Connor, Katelyn Gerrior and Jacob Youngworth; her great-grandchildren Blake Lopez, Logan Lopez and Mason Uto; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings John Cullen, Barbara Cullen, William Gilpin, Jr., Helen Gilpin Hammond, Joseph Gilpin, Arlene Gilpin Lewis and Francis Gilpin. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Sunday, February 20th from 12:00PM-3:00PM followed by a funeral service at 3:00PM in the funeral home. Private interment will be held at the VA National Cemetery in Bourne on Wednesday. Suzanne's daughters would like to give a special thanks to all the workers at Life Care Center in West Bridgewater for taking great care of her over the last few years.
