Obituary

Sylvia M. (Thieboud) (Hymon) Ellison, age 78, longtime resident of Brockton, died October 3, 2015 at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. Sylvia was the wife of Charles G. Ellison. Born, raised and educated in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late Wren and Astrid (Iverson) Thieboud. For over 40 years, Sylvia was employed at various nursing homes in the Boston area and had also participated in many local civic organizations. She enjoyed time with her family, travel, theatre and gardening.
She is survived by two sons, Ross Hymon and his wife Debbie of South Easton and Paul Hymon of Henderson, Nevada; two grandchildren, William Hymon and Amy Pawlowski; and two great grandchildren, Reggie Corrigan and Daniel Malone. She was the sister of the late Jean McDonald.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday 4-6pm followed by a funeral service at 6pm.
