Tammy Marie Wilson Pina was 44 years old when she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 30, 2022. She fought a courageous battle against cancer demonstrating both grace and strength during her illness.

She was born on March 31, 1978 in Sommerville, MA to Cidalia Moreira and the late Thomas H. Wilson. She was their only child. Tammy was raised in Sommerville and was educated in the city school system. She graduated Sommerville High School in 1996. She enjoyed Culinary Arts. She was a phlebotomist and employed at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton for many years.

Tammy married Louis B. Pina, Jr. in 2009 and two children were born from their union. A daughter, Brooke Taylor Pina and a son, Louis B. Pina III. Tammy enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. Tammy was a caring person and good friend. She was quick to laugh, and she always wore a beautiful smile on her face. She made her family a priority in life.

Tammy enjoyed attending football games to cheer on her son, Louis. She encouraged Brooke to pursue her acting and dancing interests in the Performing Arts. Tammy was a skilled baker and made many cakes, cookies and special deserts for her family and friends. People could easily fight over her cheesecake bars, and absolutely no one could eat just one.

Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Thomas H. Wilson and grandmother, Rosa Figuerido Moreira whom she loved dearly. Tammy is survived by her husband, Louis B. Pina, Jr., children Brooke Taylor Pina and Louis B. Pina III, mother Cidalia Moreira, grandmother Edith Thomas, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends to cherish her loving memory.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rt.123) Brockton from 5:00-9:00 PM to honor her life and legacy.
