Online Obituaries Tekla Ann (Giniewicz) Cicone, 88, of Brockton, formerly of Abington and West Bridgewater passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Anthony F. Cicone. Born September 23, 1924 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Martin Giniewicz and Stefania (Bosak) Giniewicz. She attended Abington Schools. Mrs. Cicone worked for the International Ladies Garment Workers Association for 25 years at various locations in Brockton. She was the best chef and baker for her loving family and friends. She was a member of bowling leagues at Maple Alleys. She was an avid Red Sox, Patriots and Greg Norman fan. She is survived by her children, Mary Ann Chafin and her husband Michael of Conway, SC, Gene Cicone of Norton and the late Anthony F. Cicone, Jr.; her grandchildren, Melissa, Jennifer, Nicholas and Heather; her great-grandchildren, Cameron, Brandon, Ava and Mason; her sisters, Mary Giniewicz, Helen Farrell, Katherine Sniger all of Abington and Blanche Dubrowski of Brockton; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Stefania Giniewicz and Alice Mahoney. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, June 3rd at 8:00AM thence to St. Ann Church, 103 No. Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00-5:00PM.
