Teresa M. (Spadea) Palmer, of West Bridgewater, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 at her home under the care of her family and hospice. She was the wife of the late Frederick V. Palmer.
Born June 12, 1921 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Giusseppe Spadea and Maria (Froio) Spadea. Raised in Brockton, she attended Brockton Schools.
Teresa was a retired Garment worker, she had worked for many years in different clothing factories in Brockton.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl A. Smith and her husband Lowell of West Bridgewater and Frederick V. Palmer, Jr. of Norwell; her grandchildren, Teresa Damiano, Frederick V. Palmer, III. And Shawn Palmer and his wife Lori; her great-grandchildren, Gianna Damiano, Brittany Palmer and Justin Palmer; her sister, Santina Blumberg; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frank Spadea, Marion Varano, Celia Tedesco, Josephine Carbonara, Jennie Barros, Mafalda Valla, Alice Smith, Anthony Spadea and Augustine Spadea.
All are welcome to join the family at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Thursday at 9:00AM thence to St. Ann Church, 103 North Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours omitted.
