Obituary

Theresa (Salamone) Guaraldi, age 92, of South Easton, died October 16, 2018 at Southeast Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Theresa was the beloved wife for 69 years of Yober Guaraldi. Born and raised in Middletown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mario and Laura (Duvoli) Salamone. She was a graduate of Albany State College and taught English for a brief period. Theresa was a longtime communicant of Community Covenant Church and had been a member of the choir. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Theresa was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed knitting, gardening, reading, bird watching and crossword puzzles.

Theresa was the mother of Mark and his wife Paula of Easton, Dean and his wife Beverly of Raynham, David and his wife Nancy of Bridgewater and the late Bret Guaraldi; grandmother of Alex, Angela, Janelle, Devin, Jared, Aaron, Bret and Brianna and sister of Eleanor Sciucco of Middletown, NY and the late Vincent Salamone and Jean Carbone.

Visitation will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday, October 27, from 11am-1pm, followed by a funeral service at 1pm. Burial will be held at a later date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery. Donations in Theresa’s name may be made to Hospice Services of Massachusetts, 2527 Cranberry Highway, Wareham, MA 02571.
