Obituary

Theresa R. “T” Leary, age 24, of West Warwick, RI, formerly of Brockton, died unexpectedly, Thursday, April 6, 2017 following a car accident in Pawtucket, RI. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of Roger H. and Lisa N. (Leary) Sherman. Theresa was a 2011 graduate of Brockton High School, and worked and volunteered locally before moving to Rhode Island. At the time of her death, she was living in her first apartment and working in RI. She was artistic and creative and enjoyed making clay figurines, crocheting and painting. She also enjoyed reading, especially Harry Potter novels, time with her family, friends and Dobby her cat.

In addition to her parents, Theresa is survived by her younger sister Concetta “Poo” Sherman, grandfather David Folkins, Nana and Papa Suzanne and Roger Sherman, Uncles John and David Folkins and cousins David, Gracie, and Johnny Folkins.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday, April 15 from 11-2pm, followed by a prayer service at 2pm. Please consider donations in Theresa’s name to APCSM 1300 W Elm St. Ext., Brockton, MA 02301.
