Obituary

Theresa M. “Terry” (McLaughlin) Melchionne, age 90, of Onset formerly of Brockton, died unexpectedly August 15, 2017 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. She was the wife of the late John J. Melchionne. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Clara L. (Seymour) McLaughlin. Terry had been an avid reader, and enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles, Bingo and her pet animals. She also loved to travel with her late husband John.

Terry was the mother of Carol Foggie and her husband Ronald of Onset, Linda Lange and her husband Michael of Tarpon Springs, FL, Deborah Sylvia and her husband Alfred of Berkley, John Moore of Rochester, NH, David Knight of Bridgewater, Theresa Grieco of Brockton and the late Donna Verdone and Richard Moore. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Claire Cummings of Rochester NY and the late Raymond, Leo, and Joseph McLaughlin.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday, August 21 from 10-11am followed by a Funeral Service at 11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
