Obituary

Theresa M. “Terry” (Whiffen) O’Hearn, 81 years, of Brockton, returned to Our Lord March 27, 2008. Beloved wife for 50 years of the late Walter E. O’Hearn (Boston Fire Department). Born in New Bedford, raised and educated in South Boston, daughter of the late Augustine and Martha (O’Leary) Whiffen. She had been a homemaker and also a waitress at the Iron Horse Restaurant in Boston. She loved to travel; was an avid Bingo player; enjoyed time with her family and friends and was known for her wit and humor. She was loved and adored by her children, Bill, Nancy Weeks, Marie, Michael, Karen Hay and Paul of S. Carolina; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also survived by a sister Barbara Burley and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Connolly.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday at 9am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10am. Private internment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-6pm.
